Overview
OceanScope (Société collaborative ARL OceanScope) is a company based in Brest, France. The company has been created by Jérôme Gourrion and Tanguy Szekely in 2017 to develop services among domains close to their experience in physical oceanography. The main aim of the company is to take advantage of their expertise in the analysis of global in-situ observations for the description and understanding of the ocean state. The company expertise also concerns design, implementation and validation of quality control methods for ocean measurements, both for scientific and operational use. Last, the company also develops algorithms and methods for a better understanding of the ocean variability and the estimation of ocean indicators such as the ocean heat content.
